We Moved To Franklin, TN
We moved in and moved to Franklin, Tennessee!
When you visit Franklin Tennessee, the words ‘quaint’, ‘quintessential’, ‘simple life’ or ‘precious’ may cross your mind, yet most likely come out verbally. You can’t help it, because these are just a few words that sum it up.
Franklin Tennessee is a city with a population of 78,321, according to the 2017 census. Nearly a quarter of Nashville’s population, yet only 19 miles from downtown Nashville. The main attraction for Franklin is Main Street, where you will find historic plaques scattered throughout the downtown area giving you history of what was once there and how long ago.
Franklin is one of those places where the older gentlemen sit outside in their Ralph Lauren sweaters, sipping their morning coffee while reading the daily news paper, while runners pass by on their morning run and little dogs yap at the birds singing in the trees. It sounds picturesque because, well, it is!
With its numerous spots for coffee, its endless antique market and weekly farmers market, you can always be on the move and exploring in this town.
With its countless historic homes, plantations and stunning landscape, I am always in awe of Franklin. I even enjoy going for a run now! Haha!
When Kyle and I moved to Franklin we knew we wanted to be in the heart of it all. We live right beside The Factory, which host the weekly Farmers Market, we can walk downtown to all of the festivals that happen throughout the summer, and we can easily hop in the car and head on to Leipers Fork, a tiny little town that is also sweet as pie.
I could go on and on about this sweet little place that I now call home, but I think I will just let these images speak for themselves!
Come visit us! Check out what I am talking about - you’ll be so glad you did! :)
